Association Connecting Electronics Industriesreg; and its Designers Council are pleased to announce the Designers Summit, February 15-22, 2007, in Los Angeles, Calif., targeted specifically for printed circuit board (PCB) designers. Held in conjunction with IPC Printed Circuits Exporeg; and APEXreg;, the Designers Summit offers the latest advancements in technology, high speed design and designing for a lead free future. Taking place over the course of a week, the Summit allows designers to select from a host of design-specific activities and educational sessions to capitalize on what they need most. The comprehensive program ensures designers get the tools and information they need to stay competitive, innovative and in demand. As part of the overall program, Designers Day, February 19, presents an intense, full-day immersion in design issues, including new approaches to design challenges, insight to evolving lead free concerns and a valuable heads-up on the future of the U.S. design industry.  The program is developed by designers, for designers, notes Jean Hebeisen, IPC Designers Council and professional development director.
