Pradeep Lall, Ph.D., et al. from Auburn University won the Best of Proceedings category for their paper Survivability Assessment of SAC Lead-Free Packaging Under Shock and Vibration Using Optical High-Speed Imaging. Isabel de Sousa, et al., IBM Corporation, won the Best International Paper category for their paper entitled Implementation of Increased Cu Levels (1%) in SAC Alloys for PBGA Applications. The authors will formally be presented their awards on October 6, 2009 at the SMTAI Opening Ceremony during SMTA International in San Diego, CA.
