NEPCON China 2014 will be held at Shanghai World EXPO ExhibitionConvention Center from April 23-25, 2014. The event is one of the biggest and longest standing trading and sourcing platforms in Asia featuring all major brands in the electronics manufacturing world. 2014 PE Industry ConferenceOrganized by Reed Exhibitions, CCPIT ElectronicsInformation Industry Sub-council and the Changzhou Printable Electronics Industry Research Institute, the conference will take place on April 23 at the NEPCON Theatre in Hall 1. Printable electronics, a rising technology used in manufacturing electronic components and products, has great potential and broad market prospects. It is reported as being a green manufacturing technology with the advantage of simple production processes, low raw material consumption, low investment and low costs, among other features. Annual sales of printable electronics are expected to reach USD 300 billion in 2025.

Reed Exhibitions and Changzhou Printable Electronics Industry Research Institute will co-host a development-boosting lsquo;market opportunities brought by printed electronics industry conference. The purpose of the seminar will be to assess local and international printable electronics technology, the state of the market, development trends and new opportunities for electronics manufacturers, thanks to the rapid development of the local printable electronics industry.

Wearable Electronics Networking SessionOrganized by Reed Exhibitions and CCPIT ElectronicsInformation Industry Sub-council, the session will take place on April 24 in Hall 1 of the NEPCON Theatre. This year, Reed Exhibitions will cooperate with the Wearable website to hold a wearable intelligent devices session. Professionals from the local and international wearable intelligent device industry will discuss industry development opportunities and trend prospects for 2014. These will be based on technology and market developments for wearable intelligent devices, innovative products and applications. The latest wearable intelligent application technology and devices will also be exhibited to the audience onsite.

The Wearable website, Chinarsquo;s first portal for wearable intelligent devices, has the largest assortment of wearable intelligent devices. Information, evaluation, product libraries, yellow pages, electronic markets, and forums are all published to the website to create a three-dimensional ecosystem that covers the upstream, medium, downstream and end-users.

NEPCON and Smart Factory 1.0  The Future of Electronics Manufacturing

China ScienceTechnology Automation Alliance will invite industry experts to discuss application of advanced automation products, technologies and standards in the field of electronics manufacturing, at the same time, experts from leading automation manufacturers will share more solutions and applications about electronics production automation.

SMTA China East Conference 2014

SMTA China will organize the SMTA China East Conference 2014 in Shanghai on April 22-25, with the vendor conferences taking place from April 23-25. This timely event will be held in conjunction with NEPCON China 2014 at the Convention Center. This event will address the industrys most pressing issues in electronics assembly, manufacturing, industry, technology roadmap, business focus, advanced packaging, practical skill development, emerging technologies, and lead-free and reliability.

SMTA China also will host the SMTA Engineer Certification Program from April 23-25. This three-day offering will consist of a 1.5-day refresher workshop on topics in SMT Processes. The program concludes on days two and three with an open and closed book examination. This is not an entry-level program. Basic algebra will be used in the workshop and examination. This challenging examination requires both written answers and calculations with the intent to enable the attendee to establish competitive credentials asCertified by the SMTA in SMT Processes.

The SMTA China Annual Award Presentation will also be held at Booth A1-1H40 in Hall 1 of the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition  Convention Center on April 23. To acknowledge the work of the speakers, and to thank them for sharing information at the High-Technology Conference and Hi-Tech Equipment Conference, SMTA China will present awards for Best Paper andBest Presentation.
