据媒体报道，宏基主席JT Wang日前透露，宏基正与富士康就将来笔记本代工问题展开商谈。据业界消息，宏基2010年的笔记本订单将有40％交与仁宝，纬创和广达则各自将获取20～30％的份额，英业达有望获取剩余部份。 因为宏基认为富士康笔记本研发能力仍然弱于上述厂商，其主要笔记本生产订单在近期不会投向富士康。Wang also noted that the recent merging of Innolux Display and Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO) will not affect the company panel purchasing from them and Acer will continue to maintain 3-4 regular panel suppliers in the future.

Although one of Acer panel suppliers,Samsung Electronics, has became a strong competitor in netbook market,

Wang said that Acer will continue to purchase panels from Samsung due to its strong technologies and large capacity. Wang said he has urged Samsung to spin-off its production and brand businesses, to which Samsung has promised to make an appropriate separation; although the company added that this will be difficulty to make clear in the short-term.

In 2010, Wang expects Acer consolidated revenues to grow 15% on year and netbook shipments will account for 30-40% of the forecast 40 million units in global shipments.
