Hannover, 17 March, 2011 ? The LPKF AG headquarters is bursting at the seams. The laser technology of the Garbsen machine builder is in such high demand worldwide that the company hired more than 100 new employees during the past two years. LPKF is now significantly expanding its space, adding a building and combining the Garbsen development departments there. We were in the middle of planning a new building on our property when we received an offer to purchase the building next door. So of course we seized the opportunity. Now we just need to remodel and will be ready to move in this June, states Dr. Ingo Bretthauer, CEO at LKPF Laser  Electronics AG. After two extremely positive business years the corporate staff grew from 350 in 2009 to currently more than 470 employees ? and LPKF continues to offer interesting jobs for qualified workers. The neighboring building purchased in January is currently being renovated and connected with the companys existing complex. So as of June this will give us an additional 3,000 square meters (32,000 square feet) of space. LPKF will be combining the RD departments there and will be using the freed up space in the old building for manufacturing laser systems. The investment amounts to about 5 million Euros.
